Shania Duncan is the owner of Altimate
Publishing and the author of upcoming
children's books, The Best Me I Can Be
and The Grossest Boy in School, both
due out in 2006.
Shania has had a passion for writing
from very early on. When she was
younger, she begged her mom for a
typewriter or computer, so she could see
her stories in print.

She has two little brother, Cameron and Jacob, plus dozens of cousins that she
uses for inspiration in her writing.
In the future she hopes to publish many more books and make them a success as
well as be a frequent guest in schools across the nation.
Shania currently lives in California with her husband of 3 years. Born in the
small town of Pine Bluff, Arkansas as the second child, she attended the
University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, graduating in Early Childhood Education
with honors.
She has lived in several states including: Texas, Arkansas and Hawaii. She has
been working in elementary schools for the last four years, the last two teaching
first grade.
